Standard 2. D
Coach teachers in and model design and implementation of technology-enhanced learning experiences emphasizing creativity, higher-order thinking skills and processes, and mental habits of mind (e.g., critical thinking, metacognition, and self-regulation)
Explore Learning
Below is a worksheet I use with students along with www.explorelearning.com. I use this at the beginning of the unit on graphing parabolas. This lets students graph parabolas and move sliders to change the graph. They interact with the graph and have to answer questions about what affect it had on the graph. This is a great exercise to lead students into learning about how the function affects the graph before actually teaching it. https://s3.amazonaws.com/el-gizmos/materials/QuadPolySE.pdf
Higher Order Thinking
Below are three examples of using technology to create higher-order thinking problems for students.
